Eternal Love
CHAPTER 50
Martha announces to the members of the community that she, Miriam, and Salome have committed their hearts and lives to one another and would like to take their vows of marriage to one another and to Yeshua before their friends and family. Yeshua explains to the community that with love and within family, the greatest work for Elohim can be accomplished, and emphasizes that this is an essential part of the Plan of Eternal Progression.
The next day, on the Sabbath, the Children of Light, both the old and the young, from all of the Communities of Light along Lake Gennesaret, met together at Capernaum for edification, one with another, as was the custom on that day.
Martha had made it known when she first married Yeshua and Miriam that unlike her sister Miriam, she did not desire to travel Galilee and beyond, following Yeshua in his journeys, and preferred to remain at home in the community, taking care of their home and the children and helping to build the Communities of Light.
Abiding by her wishes and happy to have such a pillar of strength remaining always in the community, Cephas called and set her apart shortly after her arrival to be numbered among the Council of Eleven.
The Council of Eleven had also been given the responsibility of overseeing the weekly Sabbath meeting, as most, if not all of the Apostles, could be expected to be away with Yeshua at any time.
Thus it was on this Sabbath that following community announcements and task and event scheduling conducted by Gimiel, Martha rose to speak to the congregation of the Children of Light. And she said unto them, “Brothers and sisters of Light, as always, I am humbled to have the opportunity to speak with you, even more so on this day, for I have momentous and joyous news.
As you know, most recently, a dear friend, Salome, has come to live in our home. I know many of you must have wondered about the circumstances of her arrival and how it is that she dwells with us in our home.”
Then motioning to Miriam and Salome, she beckoned for them to join her on the rise, and they came up and stood with her, one on either side, with their arms interlocked behind Martha’s back.
Martha continued saying, “Miriam is my sister by birth. We were fortunate to have had the same wonderful parents and to have grown up in this life together.
As Yeshua has taught us, like many of you with your families, Miriam and I know we have been sisters for much longer than these few years upon the Earth. In truth, we have been best friends for time beyond time, before we ever came upon this place of mortality. I know this deeply in my heart.
Then upon this Earth came Salome into our lives. From the moment we first met her, there was a feeling in our hearts for one another that transcended this world. We each knew, before words had ever been spoken of it one to another, that though we had not known each other before in this life, we had been inseparable for time beyond time in the life that came before. This too, I know deeply in my heart.
That is why we never could have abided for Salome to dwell anywhere but under our roof once she came among the Children of Light, for though the world counted her not among our family, our hearts shouted that she was a part of us that could not be separated.
Yesterday, for the first time, the three of us spoke with each other about the feelings in our hearts for one another, as powerful as any feelings could be. Hearing in the words of each other, the truths our hearts already knew, we understood without doubt or hesitation that we must henceforth be always as one.
In our home, in embrace of each other, we committed our hearts and our lives to one another.
When Yeshua returned later in the day, we told him of our decision, and he blessed it and abides with it in joy.
Now we would like to make our commitment to one another and to Yeshua formal, and three days hence, we shall take our vows of marriage with Salome before you who are our dearest friends and spiritual brothers and sisters.”
Martha became quiet and nodded her head toward the Children of Light of the communities indicating she had finished speaking. For a moment, there was utter silence as those gathered considered the words that Martha had just spoken. Then like a wave building to crescendo, everyone began to clap their hands together and whistle and stomp their feet upon the ground in approval, until the very Earth seemed to shake and the air was alive with sound.
Martha, Miriam and Salome were very grateful to see and hear the unconditional support of their friends. Tears of happiness fell down each of their cheeks as they reveled in the enthusiasm of their friends and they looked at one another with wide smiles of joy and love.
Shortly afterward, Yeshua came up to the rise and spoke to the Children of Light, saying, “Words cannot express the happiness I feel because of the joy of these women whom I love and am honored and blessed to call my wives.
You look to me to guide and teach you in the ways of the Celestine Light of Elohim, and that is one of my great purposes upon the Earth in mortality. But even as you, I experience light every day, and I learn and am uplifted by the light that comes upon me.
Each of you brings light into my life. Witnessing your victories each day over the adversary within; seeing your own growth in the Celestine Light, how each day you strive and most often succeed at becoming better than you were; seeing how you teach your children with love and tenderness and by honest example—these things and so many more uplift and inspire my spirit every day.
But it is within the walls of our own home, within the embrace of our own wives and children or husbands as it may be, that we truly glorify one another and help our dearest loved ones to transcend the bonds of mortality in spirit, even while we are still in this physical life.
So it is with my wives and children.
To marry with love, to have children, and to share an unbreakable bond and devotion to one another—this is a great part of the Plan of Eternal Progression that Elohim laid out before the world ever was.
It is with your family that you are called to do your greatest work for Elohim. Though you may be a busy man of commerce or called to be an Apostle and carry great demands upon your time or called to be a missionary far from your family for a time, you must never neglect your family.
Your family, and love itself, is like the most delicate and beautiful of flowers. It requires constant devotion and attention to thrive, and when it thrives, it brings you a joy and fulfillment as great as anything you will ever experience.
Do you desire to truly know Elohim? Do you wish to feel the endless and boundless love that your Father and Mother in Heaven have for you? Then embrace the companions of love with whom you journey through eternity, not just in passing, but hold them tight, listen to their breathing, and feel their heart beat against yours. Smell the sweetness of their hair and feel the softness of their skin.
Drop down all of your walls and merge your aeons as one. Savor the feeling of oneness that washes over you and through you, in you, and around you.
From the depths of your heart speak to them of your love; tell them in softness and with your aeon alive with light that you love them with every fiber of your being, with every part of your body, mind, and spirit.
Now go and embrace your children one by one. Give them the fullness of your unconditional love. Let there be no doubt by your words and aura that you are their rock upon whom they may always depend, the bright fire upon whom they may always count upon to guide them to safe harbors.
As you hold your children in your arms, feel their love emanating unto you, a love so pure, without judgment, seeking only the same love in return.
In the arms of your dearest families, in their words of love spoken softly, in their praises given often, in their harsh words or voice never heard, is a taste of Heaven on Earth.
Therefore, partake of the love of your family and partake often. As you partake, so should you give.
As you hold and cherish those whom you love, think of how greatly your Heavenly Father and Mother love and cherish you. By this, you will come to experience and feel their infinite love in every part of you, more surely than by any other thing you can do.”
